Vintage 1950s Albert Weiss Brooch with Matching Clip-On Earrings

Sharon Harper Designs

LOVE 💕this beautiful buttery yellow Albert Weiss brooch on an adjustable suede cord. Big bonus are the matching clip on earrings! It’s rare for a brooch with matching earrings to survive “together“  for 70+ years!

Albert Weiss, a native New Yorker, started his company in
1942, on Fifth Avenue in New York. Mr. Weiss worked primarily in clear and colored high end rhinestones and was very well-known for his incredible creations. Albert Weiss was the president of his company and retired in 1969. One of his sons, Michael, continued the business for a short time but finally Weiss Jewelry closed it’s doors in 1971.

Albert Weiss  was also one of the first to use Swarovski’s aurora borealis crystals, which were created for Dior in the 1950s.

Albert Weiss has left us wonderful collectible treasures! And this beautiful brooch with matching earrings  are a perfect example of his incredible work. Brooch 2 1/2
